For donors interested in contributing, all financial donations are made through The Disaster Fund managed by The Community Foundation of Mendocino .
The Disaster Fund for Mendocino County is managed by Community Foundation of Mendocino County and was created by a lead gift from the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors in response to drought conditions in the spring/summer of 2014. The Fund is currently being utilized to support rebuilding efforts for survivors of the Redwood Complex Fires.
Through the generosity of our donors we have raised over $2.3 million towards these efforts. FEMA has estimated rebuilding will cost approximately $8-15 million. If you would like to make a contribution please visit: The Disaster Fund.
